You Love 89% Don’t You?
For reasons that will become clear, I started looking at 89%.
What does that figure mean to Accountants?
Into the rabbit hole, I went.
According to Hays (the recruitment/hr business), 89% of accountants and finance businesses raised salaries for staff last year.
89% of accountants believe digital skills are necessary to function in a modern workplace. It’s not really that surprising!
Who on earth are the 11% that don’t!?
Here’s a good one 89% of clients consider their accountants to be a trusted advisor. Your clients love you!
That last one brings me to my reasons for looking into eighty-nine as a percentage.
HDUK regularly carries out a survey. We reach out to all our clients in the accountancy sector.
We asked, “ How happy are you with HDUK?”
It was one of those marks out of ten questions.
89% gave us a mark of seven or above which is pleasing but only a beginning. We know we need to do more.
We feel a little bit taller!
Enough about us.
89% of employees who receive daily recognition feel valued by their employer.
89% of individuals who were mentored will go on to mentor someone.
89% of employees said sorting through unopened emails is one of the most disliked activities. 11% don’t mind it!
Just thinking out loud but perhaps the people above are the same folk who don’t want a digital workplace.
Last one!
89% of employees want training and development available anywhere and anytime.
Sounds reasonable to me.
So 89% seems to come up quite often in accountancy.
